Piso Livadi is found on the south-eastern shore of Paros, about 18 kilometres from the capital port at Parikia along a coast road.
It's a picturesque seaside village with a small port full of fishing boats sit and traditional Greek tavernas gather along the harbour wall and around the headland.
Piso Livadi only has about 100 permanent residents, but it has grown into a very popular holiday resort and the numbers swell considerably in the summer months.
The resort has a long, sandy beach that is edged with a long line of tamarisk trees to give it some natural shade.
The port is also the main destination for boats on this side of the island. and boats leave here for Naxos, Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Dilos and Antiparos.
There are plenty of hotels, studios, apartments and holiday rooms for rent and this side of Paros has a string of good beaches making Piso Livadi an ideal base for exploring the many beaches that lie along this stretch of the eastern shore of Paros.
There are a good nymber of beaches nearby including those at Logaras, Chryssi Akti, Nea Chryssi Akti and Pounda. Other attractions at Piso Livadi include the small church of Agios Nikolaos and the nearby Monastery of Panaghia Xehoriani.
Only one kilometre inland from Piso Livadi are the large and attractive villages of Maripissa and Marmari.
